TekBASE API & PHP 7.3 Support

As already announced in our newsletter, we would like to point out our new API and its documentation again here. We also want to point out at this point that EVERY commercial customer is provided with a free second license. This can then be used for design customization, module programming and update testing.

TekBASE API v2
Currently we are working on the documentation of the new API. A large part has already been published online at developer.teklab.de. In the coming days we will release further entries. After the API documentation, the new TekBASE update will follow and thus provide API v2. The API is available in every TekBASE version.

TekBASE Reseller API v1
A large and well-known hoster asked us for an API for TekBASE licenses. This is now finished and is available to all resellers immediately. Every reseller who integrates the API into their products by the end of the year will receive a credit of 100EUR. For integration into WHMCS/Plesk etc., there is a credit of 500EUR each. So that resellers can test the API, we create a sandbox account with sufficient credit upon request.

PHP 7.1, 7.2, 7.3
This week we are adapting our installation scripts. Afterwards, TekBASE will be available not only for PHP 5.6/7.0, but also up to and including PHP 7.3. Thus, the automatic installation script on newer Linux distributions does not need to perform an additional PHP 7.0 installation. The adapted TekBASE 8.6.13 has been available for download for several days and can already be used for manual installation.
