Move to Amazon Cloud

January 17, 2017

Today evening around 20:00 there will be a short outage. We apologize in advance. Our websites have followed the license server and now use Amazon Web Services. There are many advantages that have prompted us to switch. For customers this promises especially better accessibility of our offerings.

As can be seen in our created diagram, the license server is operated separately and is not linked to the availability of our web server. For this we use Elastic Beanstalk, which relies on a combination of RDS and EC2 instances. Just like with our web server, the system here is also automatically scaled as needed.

AWS Cloud

From now on you can select the Amazon Cloud option when ordering the TekBASE rental version. If you wish, we will provide you with the TekBASE web interface via a pre-configured EC2 instance. For individual requirements you can contact us at any time. You have the possibility to commission us to set up and manage Amazon Web Services such as S3, EBS, RDS, CloudFront, etc.
